An introduction to EDP (Electronic DataProcessing) auditing.  Emphasis is placedon EDP controls, types of EDP audits and concepts and techniques used in EDPaudits. Exposure to risk assessment and professional standards in the field ofEDP auditing.  The course addresses thesecurity issues surrounding the computer and computer-generated data.  It also addresses the risk of data loss ormodification and techniques for authorization and entry portion of systemsoftware, hardware, application software and networks
