In this course, students are introduced to primary, secondary and tertiary prevention strategies, concepts and principles of community health nursing and environmental health. Emphasis is on care of individuals and families as part of the social structure of the community.
This course examines theoretical and practical aspects of conducting behavioural science research including formulating research questions, identifying data analysis issues and principles and interpreting and communicating findings. It includes the use of electronic sources to enhance research and SPSSĀ© software for data analysis.
