In this course students examine the role and scope of counselling psychology in diverse societies. Fundamental concepts and issues related to counselling research, professional practices and interventions are explored. Modalities of treatment, theoretical orientations, cultural factors, ethical and legal issues and professional development are analysed and discussed.
