This online course provides an introduction to how to author an online course using a Learning Management System (LMS). Participants will learn principles of online course design, the proper workflow to convert a face-to-face course into online course content, and how best apply the LMS tools to engage students in the learning process. Topics include using the UB Online Course Model & Template by adding learning resources, creating online assignments and quizzes, constructing discussion forums and chats, and integrating audio/video options.
