Students develop the skills necessary for researching human-environment interactions, including quantitative and qualitative research methods, data gathering, project monitoring and evaluation, and interdisciplinary analysis techniques. They formulate a research project, resulting in a proposal that investigates an aspect of environmental sustainability.
