Students develop communicative skills in speaking, writing, reading and listening comprehension. Emphasis is on developing oral comprehension, as well as socially and culturally appropriate beginning proficiency in interpersonal, interpretive and presentational modes, while examining selected aspects of Brazil. This course is not open to native speakers.
