Students are introduced to the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. They acquire research-based knowledge of the presentation and treatment of mental disorders as documented in the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Students engage in intake interviews, case conceptualisations and treatment planning.
