Students examine populations, communities, ecosystems, energy sources and biodiversity, with emphasis on the use of associated principles to predict, interpret and analyse changes in the different levels of organisation in ecology occasioned by natural and human intervention. A laboratory component (BILB 216) is corequisite to this course.
